My Story

I've always been drawn to the way children communicate — the way a toddler's eyes light up when they finally find the word they've been searching for, or the pride on a child's face when they tell a story for the first time. That spark is what led me to speech-language pathology, and it's what keeps me passionate about this work every single day.

My journey began at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where I earned my bachelor's degree. I then continued my education at the University of South Florida (USF), earning my master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

With over 14 years of experience in early intervention, school-based settings, and private practice, I've had the privilege of working with children of all ages and a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. Throughout my career, I've developed a passion for providing individualized, play-based therapy that helps children build confidence, develop essential communication skills, and reach their full potential.

I founded Chatterbox Pediatric Speech Therapy to bring high-quality, personalized care directly to families in my community. I believe therapy works best when children feel comfortable, supported, and celebrated, and when families are actively involved in their child's progress.

Today, I proudly serve families throughout the Tampa Bay area, including Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Carrollwood, Odessa, and Trinity. I offer convenient therapy services in your home, at your child's daycare or school, in a private office, or through teletherapy — making it easier for your child to receive the support they need in an environment where they thrive.

I look forward to helping your child find their voice, build confidence, and discover the joy of communication! 💚

My approach

Therapy should feel like play — because for kids, it is.

I believe the most effective therapy happens when children feel safe, engaged, and genuinely excited to participate. That's why I use a play-based, child-led approach that meets each child exactly where they are — following their interests, building on their strengths, and making every session feel like an adventure rather than a chore.

I also believe deeply in family involvement. Parents and caregivers are a child's most important communication partners, and I work hard to make sure you leave every session with practical strategies you can use at home. Progress happens in the therapy room, but it really takes root in everyday life.

Play-based

Sessions are built around what your child loves — toys, books, games, and movement.

Family-centered

You're part of the team. I coach caregivers so progress continues between sessions.

Evidence-based

Every technique I use is grounded in current research and best practices.

Individualized

No two children are alike. Every plan is tailored to your child's unique needs and goals.
